OC Project Greenlight: Day 32!

OCF! Moving from childish to child-like faith. AMAZING. Promise to blog soon!!! Gotta get through midterms first...& the Royal Wedding! :D

What we're doing.

OC project green light is a program which raises awareness and works to eliminate sex trafficking within communities. It is our goal that by wearing the same dress everyday for the next 10 weeks, we, among other Otterbein women, will be able to raise awareness and make a statement about human trafficking within our community of Columbus, OH.

We will also be fundraising for an organization called Doma (http://domaconnection.org/). By using the money we would normally spend on clothing throughout this quarter, we will be able to donate to DOMA and help them with their mission.

The women involved with OC project green light will be holding a weekly bible study focused on the book of Hosea & Francine Rivers' book Redeeming Love. We are excited to make this commitment during spring quarter, focusing our time on an important cause while drawing closer to God.

Anissa and I are both excited to take on this challenge, and will be blogging about our experience the whole way through.
