Well, day 3 is over and people in my classes have definitely seen me in the same dress more than once. And yes, I have gotten some weird looks. I haven't really had a chance of telling people about why I am doing it which I am really hoping to change soon. By tomorrow, I have worn my dress to each class at least twice and I am anticipating questions being asked. I can not wait to tell people why and to raise awareness about the horrible things that happen to women in sex trafficking.
When I heard about doing this dress project I was really excited (besides the obvious reason) because I would have an outfit already picked out everyday and I could take all of my clothes home and not have to worry about moving them back at the end of the quarter. That stuff is definitely good, but this is the first time that I've sacrificed something for so long for something that would not benefit me at all. I am so blessed to be a part of this. When people see all of us girls wearing the same dress, of course they will think we are the ones who are giving to them, but I can already tell I will receive so much knowledge from this experience. I can not wait to see what I have learned by the end of 10 weeks.
